Perhaps you’d like to commission some family history research as a special surprise for a relative, friend or colleague … or even a treat for yourself?
We can produce multi-generation pedigrees with our Family Matters package, focus on specific ancestral lines as the Surname Sleuth or delve into specific record sets with The Reaper and The Parish Clerk. And although we specialise in English genealogy, we can adapt our packages for other UK nations too. If you’d like to purchase, extend or adapt one of our packages or have a question for us, please get in touch via our online form before you buy. Or if DNA is more your thing, please head to our genetic genealogy page to find out more.
Here at Khronicle® we like to deliver a beautiful finished product, so please note that the focus hours stated in our package descriptions include time for project tasks including report writing.

Has a particular surname piqued your interest? Then you need the Surname Sleuth on the case.
Starting from a single ancestor (male or female), we’ll trace their surname lineage over three or four generations. Core records (census & civil registration) form the basis of the investigation but research may extend beyond these.
Family really does matter, and exploring several generations of ancestors can bring incredible stories to light. If you’re intrigued by a particular branch of your tree, this is the package for you!
Family Matters delves into the story of your chosen individual, going back to all four grandparents. It’s aimed at post-1837 English or Welsh projects but we’re happy to adapt it for earlier eras on request where possible. Core records (census & civil registration) form the basis of the investigation but research may extend beyond these.
There’s no need to fear The Reaper! A fascinating and oft-overlooked goldmine of information, death records can revitalise your research, revealing details of possessions, relationships and names of friends or wider family. In this package, we’ll seek out a range of death records for your ancestor and capture the stories that emerge.
Were your Berkshire-based ancestors model parishioners or did they end up on the wrong side of the law? Wealthy or poor, we can explore how your forebears interacted with their local community through our archival package The Parish Clerk. We’ll aim to narrate your family’s story through parish chest records, Bishop’s Transcripts and parish registers.
